    How to Roast Beets

Steps to make roasted beets, place beets on aluminum foil with olive oil, wrap, and roast on a baking sheet.
    • Heat oven - Heat the oven to 400°F.
    • Wrap and cook beets - Place each beet on an individual piece of aluminum foil that’s large enough to wrap each beet. Drizzle each beet with olive oil and season with kosher salt. Then wrap the beets and place on a baking sheet with space in between each one. Bake for 40-60 minutes. The amount of time baked will vary depending on the size of the beets. (Photo 1, 2, 3, and 4)
Steps to make roasted beets, open roasted beets, peel, slice, and season.
    • Unwrap and peel - Once tender, remove from foil and allow to cool. (Photo 5)
    • Peel beets - Run the beets under cold water, peel the skin, and slice into wedges or slices. (Photo 6 and 7)
    • Season and serve - Place in a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and season with flaky sea salt and pepper, or your favorite seasonings. (Photo 8)

    Roasting Tips

    • Make sure the aluminum is sealed around the beets while cooking to ensure that the steam thoroughly cooks them.
    • Do not open the oven - If you open the oven while the beets cook, the hot air will release making the beets cook slowly and unevenly.
