Honey Dijonnaise is sweet, tangy, and elevates dishes from salmon and chicken to sandwiches and salads. Make in just 2 minutes then use it to add depth and complexity to your culinary creations.

Honey garlic dijonnaise made with whole grain mustard in a ramekin for sandwiches, chicken, fish, and more.

We love this dijonnaise because it is so versatile and easy to make. We typically make a big batch then store it for whenever we want to spice up our recipes. It is especially delicious on proteins like our Pistachio Salmon or as a dipping sauce for French Fries or Chicken Tenders. But the options are limitless!

    Recipe FAQs

    Is Honey Dijonnaise spicy?

This recipe is lightly spicy from the the dijon mustard and paprika. In order to make it milder, omit the paprika.

Can I make a vegan version of Honey Dijonnaise?

Yes, in order to make this recipe vegan, use vegan mayo instead of regular mayonnaise.

Can I substitute regular mustard for Dijon mustard in Honey Dijonnaise?

Yes, but it won't have the same signature tanginess. We do not recommend it.

    Top Tips

    • Use high-quality smooth or coarse dijon mustard and avoid yellow mustard for the best flavor.
    • Taste and adjust to your liking - Add more honey or mustard to adjust the sweetness or spiciness to your liking. You can add them incrementally until you achieve the desired balance.
