Strawberry Mochi (Ichigo Daifuku)

Strawberry Mochi are sweet and chewy treats featuring mochi stuffed with ripe strawberries and a sweet Japanese bean paste.

Step 1

Clean, dry, and remove stems from strawberries.

Step 2

Wrap strawberries with bean paste.

Step 3

Make mochi - Mix mochiko, sugar, and water.

Step 4

Cook mochi in microwave & dust parchment paper with potato starch.

Step 5

Cut mochi into 6 pieces.

Step 6

Wrap strawberries in mochi.

Step 7

Cut mochi in half then enjoy!
