Miso Pasta With Caramelized Shallots features al dente spaghetti tossed in creamy miso butter sauce with Parmigiano-Reggiano and sweet caramelized shallots.

Step 1

Prepare shallots -Cut shallots then place on greased baking sheet.

Step 2

Drizzle shallots with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and herbs.

Step 3

Roast shallots on middle rack for 25-30 minutes.

Step 4

Cook pasta in a large pot then reserve cup of pasta water.

Step 5

Add olive oil, butter, and miso to large skillet over medium heat.

Step 6

Mix in pasta water then Parmigiano-Reggiano, shallots, and parsley.

Step 7

Serve and enjoy!
