Karaage Chicken Recipe

Karaage Chicken is crispy and succulent Japanese fried chicken. This delectable dish makes a great appetizer to share or main course.

Step 1

Make marinade -Whisk sake, soy sauce, mirin, ginger, and garlic.

Step 2

Dry chicken with paper towels then toss in marinade.

Step 3

Marinate for 30 min.

Step 4

Coat chicken with corn starch.

Step 5

Fry chicken in oil at 340-360°F until golden.

Step 6

Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.

Step 7

Serve with lemon wedges and enjoy!
