Green Tea Shots are refreshing, tasty, and the perfect way to to celebrate a summer night with friends. Our green tea shot features Japanese whiskey, peach schnapps, homemade sour mix, and sparkling lemonade. Be careful how many you drink, these shots go down easy!
Make simple syrup - pour water and sugar into a saucepan and simmer on medium heat. Occasionally stir to dissolve the sugar. Once sugar is dissolved, pour the simple syrup into a glass jar to cool.
1 cup water, ½ cup sugar
Add lemon and lime juice - Once the simple syrup cools, add in lemon and lime juice and give it a good stir or shake. Make up to 3 days in advance.

Add ingredients to jar or cocktail shaker - Add whiskey, peach schnapps, sour mix, and 2 ice cubes to jar.
1 oz whisky, 1 oz peach schnapps, 1 oz sour mix, 2 ice cubes
Shake mixture - Seal jar with lid and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Then fill shot glasses ¾ full with mixture.
Add sparkling lemonade - Top off shot glasses with sparkling lemonade. Serve and enjoy.

StorageYou likely won't have leftover green tea shots, but if you do, store them in the refrigerator in an airtight glass bottle or lidded jar for up to 3 days. When you are ready to drink them again, just pour them into shot glasses or enjoy it as a cocktail. This drink doesn't stand up well to freezing.Top Tips
If you make your sour mix at home, it gives you the power to control how much sugar is in the mix and as a result, how sweet the shot is. It also allows you to adjust the amount of lemon or lime juice to your preference.
You can reduce the level of carbonation in this shot by substituting regular lemonade for sparkling lemonade.
Chill your shot glasses in the fridge before serving them. By chilling the glasses you will ensure the shots are extra cold and refreshing.
