Burrata Caprese with Balsamic Glaze is a show-stopping Italian appetizer to share. It features creamy burrata, juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic glaze. Serve it with a sliced toasted baguette and a glass of wine!
Arrange tomatoes - Arrange the tomatoes in a circle.
4 Ripe tomatoes
Cut burrata - Place the burrata in the center and cut open the burrata.
1 4 oz Burrata cheese ball
Add basil - Tear fresh basil and sprinkle on top of the tomatoes and cheese.
4 Fresh basil leaves
Drizzle and season - Drizzle balsamic glaze and olive oil over tomatoes and cheese. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil, ½ cup Balsamic Glaze (optional if not making honey balsamic reduction), Flaky sea salt, Freshly cracked pepper
Serve - Serve with a toasted baguette and enjoy!
Honey Balsamic Glaze (Optional)
Add ingredients to saucepan - In a small saucepan, cook balsamic vinegar and honey over medium heat.
½ cup Balsamic vinegar, 4 tablespoon Honey
Whisk and simmer - Once the mixture begins to cook and bubble, whisk and reduce to medium-low heat. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes until it is reduced.
Allow to cool - Remove the saucepan from the heat and set aside to cool.
