Teriyaki Chicken Bowl
Make Japanese rice
on stovetop or in rice cooker.
While rice cooks,
soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar, and ginger to make
with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, until skin turns golden.
Turn chicken thighs over
, add 1 tbsp of water to pan, cover with lid &
for 8-10 min.
Reduce heat to low then
cook chicken in teriyaki sauce
for 2 min.
Slice chicken into strips then place over rice in bowls.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions then enjoy!
