Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F & line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Cream butter, granulated sugar, & brown sugar until fluffy.

Step 3

Reduce speed to low and add the vanilla and egg yolk.

Step 4

Mix in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and kosher salt.

Step 5

Fold in chocolate chips.

Step 6

Make cookie dough balls then freeze for 10 minutes.

Step 7

Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.

Step 8

Let the cookies cool then enjoy on their own or with milk!
