Sautéed Buttered Leeks

Step 1

Cut off the leek root

Step 2

Remove tough outer layer, then cut in half.

Step 3

Slice leek into quarter inch slices then rinse with water.

Step 4

Add oil & butter to large skillet over medium heat.

Step 5

Add shallots and leeks then cook for 6-8 min.

Step 6

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 7

Enjoy as a delicious side!
