New Years Chocolate Mochi

Step 1

Mix cocoa powder, sugar, mochiko, & water.

Step 2

Microwave, mix, then microwave again.

Step 3

Transfer mochi to surface covered in potato starch.

Step 4

Cut mochi then form into balls.

Step 5

Form disc, place truffle in center, then fold sides over truffle.

Step 6

Roll each piece of mochi in cocoa powder.

Step 7

Place each mochi in cupcake liner.

Step 8

Enjoy or give them away as a New Years gift!
