How to Make Unagi Sauce


–Mirin – Granulated sugar – Sake – Soy sauce

Step 1

Whisk mirin, sugar, and sake in sauce pan over medium heat.

Step 2

Once mixture boils, turn down heat to low and add the soy sauce.

Step 3

Simmer for 10 minutes and occasionally stir.

Step 4

Once sauce thickens to desired consistency, remove it from heat.
