How to Make Ebi Tempura (Shrimp Tempura)

Step 1

Prepare shrimp -use a sharp knife to make 3 incisions across the belly of the shrimp to prevent shrimp from curling.

Step 2

Heat oil in pan.

Step 3

Prepare batter in a mixing bowl.

Step 4

Dip each shrimp in the batter and drop it into the hot oil immediately.

Step 5

Fry until the shrimp are cooked and the batter is golden.

Step 6

Serve and enjoy with Serve with tentsuyu, a Japanese tempura dipping sauce.
