How to Make Calamarata Pasta

Step 1

Cut squid into 1-inch rings and keep tentacles whole.

Step 2

Heat olive oil then add garlic cloves.

Step 3

After 1 minute, stir in squid rings and tentacles.

Step 4

After 2 minutes, add white wine.

Step 5

Remove garlic, then stir in tomatoes, chili flakes, sea salt, and parsley.

Step 6

Cook pasta and reserve one cup of pasta water.

Step 7

Stir in pasta and pasta water into the sauce.

Step 8

Garnish and serve.
