How to Cook Vegetable Wild Rice

Step 1

Cook onions, carrots, and celery until softened, about 5 min.

Step 2

Stir in wild rice & cook until lightly browned, about 3 min.

Step 3

Stir in salt, pepper, sage, thyme, rosemary, & mushrooms.

Step 4

Slowly add the broth to the cooked wild rice one cup at a time.

Step 5

Drain excess liquid then fluff the rice with fork.

Step 6

Enjoy as a side or stuffed in chicken.
