Flank Steak Salad with Balsamic Dressing

Set the oven to broil on high.

Step 1

Make 20 small incisions in steak & stuff garlic in each incision.

Step 2

Place steak on baking sheet & season w/ salt and pepper.

Step 3

Drizzle with olive oil, then broil for 7-8 minutes for medium rare.

Step 4

Let steak rest for 5 minutes the slice for salad.

Step 5

Make balsamic dressing - whisk olive oil, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, & garlic powder.

Step 6

Dress romaine - Toss chopped lettuce with ⅔ balsamic dressing.

Step 7

Top lettuce w/ bell pepper, tomatoes, radish, shallot, green onion, & steak.

Step 8

Drizzle remaining dressing on top and serve.
