Chicken Katsu Curry

Wash the vegetables

Pre-Preparation

Make the steamed Japanese rice in a rice cooker or on a stove top

Hot dish

Step 1

Stir-fry vegetables in dutch oven

Step 2

Add water and cook until the potatoes are tender

Step 3

Add curry block and stir until melted

Step 4

Stir all ingredients until they are coated in curry

Step 5

While the curry cooks, make the chicken katsu

Step 6

Dredge the chicken then fry it in oil

Step 7

Place katsu on cooling rack or paper towel to remove excess oil

Step 8

Serve sliced chicken katsu and  Japanese curry on top of steamed rice
