Step 1

Mix beef, garlic powder, sea or kosher salt, and pepper in bowl.

Step 2

Form into 4 equal sized patties.

Step 3

Cook patties in cast iron skillet over medium heat for 4 min on each side (medium rare).

Step 4

In last minute of cooking, add cheese on top of each patty.

Step 5

While patties cook, toast buns until golden brown.

Step 6

Assemble burgers on toasted buns with your favorite spread, lettuce, tomato, and onions.

Enjoy with a yummy side like Homemade Seasoned French Fries.
