Carrot Cake with Chai Frosting

Preheat the oven 350°F and grease cake pans.

Step 1

Whisk dry ingredients - flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

Step 2

Whisk wet ingredients - sugars, vanilla, and oil, then mix in eggs.

Step 3

Combine wet and dry ingredients then mix in carrots and walnuts.

Step 4

Pour batter into 2 greased cake pans then bake for 45-50 min.

Step 5

Make Frosting - Whip butter, cream cheese, & vanilla until light & fluffy.

Step 6

Mix in sugar, salt, and spices then refrigerate frosting.

Step 7

After cake cools, add frosting.

Step 8

Garnish top of cake with toasted pepitas and walnuts, then serve!
