Blackberry Lemon Bread



Preheat oven to 350°F and place oven rack in middle tier.

Step 1

Cream sugar and butter in mixing bowl or mixer.

Step 2

Beat eggs, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest for 1 min.

Step 3

In separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Step 4

Add flour mixture to wet ingredients, then fold in blackberries.

Step 5

Bake bread in oven for 45-50 min then cool for 10 minutes.

Step 6

Make the glaze - whisk powdered sugar, lemon juice, & lemon zest.

Step 7

Glaze bread then enjoy!
