I don't think anyone should feel limited to just one signature scent. While I don't have a signature scent per say, I definitely have some favorites, especially if they come in pretty bottles. Perfume is one of my favorite ways to "accessorize." I learned from my mom to always spritz a little perfume on my neck and wrists before leaving the house. Perfume can give you confidence and make you feel fabulous! I can now incorporate fragrance into my clean beauty routine with Skylar. I was so happy to discover Skylar, whose fragrances are clean, vegan, hypoallergenic, and cruelty-free.

    What makes a perfume clean?

Clean perfumes are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes, and allergens. Skylar is particularly clean in that all of their fragrances are vegan and made using botanical-based and lab-made ingredients that are safe to use. So many perfumes contain chemicals that can have negative long-term affects on your health. Many of these chemicals can be hidden behind the word "fragrance" on the list of ingredients.  Skylar is a leader in the fragrance industry who lists all of the ingredients and ensures they are safe for consumers to enjoy.

Meadow & Isle, a Daydream Duo

My two favorite Skylar scents are Meadow and Isle. Meadow is floral and elegant. It smells of tuberose, jasmine, and orange blossom, three scents that are often the base of my favorite perfumes. Isle is clean, fresh, and reminds me of the beach. It smells of bergamot, cardamom, and spiced sandalwood, but still smells feminine and fresh. I wear both Meadow and Isle on their own and layered together. The scents combined smell sweet, light, and clean.

    Where Can I Buy Skylar?

Skylar is available on their website and at Sephora.  You can join Skylar's Scent Club and have new exclusive scents delivered to you every month.  Plus, you get 10% off everything on Skylar's website.  What a perfect way to try new fragrances and layer perfumes! You can shop Skylar scents below and try one of my favorite clean beauty brands.
